If you are a tourist, visiting Paris and you shop at the store and spend more than 175 euros then you are eligible to claim back some of the tax you have paid. This is a great scheme and available in store.

Rosemary Banks (the New Zealand Ambassador) visited the store on the afternoon of 13th October 2010. It was lovely to meet her. Catherine McIntosh and Victoria Hallum from the embassy were with Ms Banks. Like all females, they tried on various outfits and World was the winner on the day.

Since the store has been open (which is 4 weeks) Liz and Neville Findlay from Zambesi and Trelise Cooper have visited the store. It was nice to see them, and for them to see the shop now that it is open and stocked with their product.
We have also been visited by the designers for Nom’D and Ng Design.

We ran a competition at the launch party. The prize was a styling session with the World designers. This was to be held at the store for the winner with a few of their friends – vino and nibbles to be provided. The lucky winner was Alice Braun – well done to Alice.
